The sun was setting that late September day when I got out of the car to snap pictures of a freighter on the Saint Lawrence River. Memories from my childhood of camping in the Thousand Islands with my family were strong. Ships usually went up and down the seaway all night long, their horns beeping and honking. It was a comforting sound for some reason.
This day it was sunny and warm and very BUGGY. I don’t like bugs. I got back into the car and had several buzzy things on me. Yuck.
The boat was pretty cool, though, and I’m glad I got both pictures and video.
