About Me

Five years ago I bought an older model used Schecter 4 string bass on a whim. I found my purpose and my passion as a musician. I’m an intermediate level bass player, still taking lessons and still learning. I’ve done a lot of things in my 64 years, but picking up the bass is hands down the thing that has brought me the most joy and personal fulfillment (beyond motherhood).

I bypassed college at age 18 and then went back again to give it a try when I was 51. I ended up earning two degrees, the first one was in Web Design with a 4.0 GPA and the second one was more applicable to my day job – Paralegal Studies. I started playing bass at age 59 and absolutely love it. I guess you could say I’m a late bloomer.

A lifelong introvert, I am blessed with an understanding employer who allows me to work 100% remotely. I enjoy my family, my cats, music, photography and reading (I am an out of control book collector). I post a lot of pictures of sunsets and garden wildlife (squirrels in particular).

My current felines are a mother and son duo named Meg and Dash.
