Sleep is Crummy
Last night
Sleep fight
Painful tummy
Sleep is crummy
But it’s not my thoughts that were keeping me awake.., Today is world sleep day my meditation app tells me. I find it ironic that last night was one of my bad nights. I discovered today that one of the low fat frozen meals I truly enjoy has Xanthan gum in it. Xanthan gum is an additive used as a thickening agent. Xanthan gum is NOT my friend. I won’t be eating that meal again.
My entire household was up at 3:00-something last night. Son #1 had a low blood sugar issue, son #2 was trying to figure out what the cat was screeching about in the basement, and I was sick and couldn’t sleep.
I am moving very slowly today.
Not the most interesting of posts. Sorry. -
Happy Dash Day
Dash is four today. He’s not a very patient coworker, but he’s a good friend.
Sitting on my desk between me and my work On the kitchen counter where he’s not supposed to be Up on top of my bass guitars On the printer And he’s had enough of my nonsense -
White and Blue
A view from both of my front windows. There’s something magical about a cool, clear morning before the clean, white snow starts to melt and turn to slush. The road and the yards are covered in white, and the sky is that impossible blue.

Squirrel Restaurant
Would you care for the black oil sunflower seeds grabbed from the feeder? You’ll need to balance on your hind feet on the railing and perhaps fight off a bird or two. Or would you prefer dining more comfortably but perhaps less safe on our top step and sampling the skinless peanuts served in an old cat dish?

I’m much more interesting than these books I don’t mind using them as a stepping stone As long as I can sit on your lap, I’m good
