White and Blue

A view from both of my front windows. There’s something magical about a cool, clear morning before the clean, white snow starts to melt and turn to slush. The road and the yards are covered in white, and the sky is that impossible blue.

Would you care for the black oil sunflower seeds grabbed from the feeder? You’ll need to balance on your hind feet on the railing and perhaps fight off a bird or two. Or would you prefer dining more comfortably but perhaps less safe on our top step and sampling the skinless peanuts served in an old cat dish?

A Winter’s Night

Snowy streets in Downtown Rochester, New York after a long working day. Snow flurries obscuring the street lamps and turning them into dandelion’s fluff. Almost makes the grimy streets look pretty.
